Railay Beach begins a six-night, three-base route through Krabi, an overnight on Phi Phi and three nights in Phuket. Staying on Phi Phi itself, rather than visiting by day boat, opens up Maya Bay, Pileh Lagoon, Monkey Beach and Bamboo Island snorkelling at quieter hours of the day.

From Cliffs To Lagoons

Krabi's four-island longtail tour and Ao Nang set the tone; Phi Phi's lagoons and snorkel stops form the centrepiece; Phuket closes the route with Patong Beach and Old Phuket Town. Three separate bases keep the longtail coves, the island lagoons and the resort strip distinct, rather than merging them into one stretch of coast.
