Day 1: Arrive Gangtok

Arrive in Gangtok and settle into your hotel. The afternoon is easy — perhaps a first walk to Rumtek Monastery to get your bearings, or simply rest after the journey. Your guide will brief you on tomorrow's plans.

Day 2: Gangtok — Full Day Sightseeing

Today is entirely given to Gangtok. Morning visits to Rumtek Monastery — the largest in Sikkim, then Tsomgo (Changu) Lake drive at 3,753 metres altitude after lunch. If the schedule permits, end with MG Marg pedestrian mall and Saturday flower market. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 3: Gangtok — Gurudongmar Lake

Today visits Gurudongmar Lake — Located at an altitude of 17100 feet, Gurudongmar Lake is one of the most sacred lakes in Sikkim. It is named after Guru. Return to your Gangtok hotel for the evening.

Day 4: Gangtok — Journey On

Today is entirely given to Pelling. Morning visits to Pemayangtse Monastery — one of Sikkim's oldest gompas, then Kanchenjunga Falls and Rabdentse ruins — the ancient capital after lunch. If the schedule permits, end with Skywalk glass bridge over the Singshore gorge. Dinner at the hotel.
