This is a 5 Nights / 6 Days private van tour that showcases the most beautiful highlights of the Kashmir Valley. Your journey begins in Srinagar, where you enjoy an iconic Shikara ride on Dal Lake and explore scenic Mughal Gardens like Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashma Shahi, along with the revered Hazratbal Shrine. The tour includes a visit to Gulmarg, famous for its snow-clad meadows, outdoor activities and optional Gondola ride, and Pahalgam, known as the Valley of Shepherds with visits to Aru Valley, Chandanwari and the saffron fields of Pampore.     01

    Srinagar

    On arrival at Srinagar, meet and assist by our representative and transfer to your houseboat/hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a Shikara ride on Dal Lake, visiting floating gardens, lotus gardens, and vegetable gardens. The backwater cruise passes through narrow canals of the lake. Also visit local handicraft centres known for paper mâché and wood carving work.

    02

    Srinagar

    After breakfast, proceed for a local sightseeing tour of Srinagar. Visit the sacred Shankaracharya Temple, followed by the famous Mughal Gardens – Nishat Bagh (Garden of Pleasure) overlooking the crystal-clear emerald waters of Dal Lake, and Shalimar Bagh (Garden of Love). Each garden is more beautiful than the one visited before. Walk along the terraced flower beds, past marble pavilions and splashing fountains, with snow-capped Himalayan peaks in the backdrop. Also visit Chashma Shahi (Royal Spring) and Hazratbal Mosque. The rest of the day is free for personal activities and shopping.

    03

    Srinagar – Gulmarg (50 kms approx 1.5 hrs )

    After breakfast, drive from Srinagar to Gulmarg, which is approximately 50 kms and takes around 1.5 hours. Gulmarg, known as the Meadow of Flowers, is situated at a height of 8,800 feet above sea level. Here, you will witness the natural beauty of Kashmir set out like a doll’s village. Gulmarg was a favorite summer hunting retreat of the British, and you can still find old-fashioned hotels and shops in the village. It has the highest 18-hole golf course in the world and has developed into a ski resort during winter. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

    04

    Gulmarg to Pahalgam (140 kms approx 4.5 hrs )

    Morning after breakfast, proceed on a 4.5-hour drive to Pahalgam (140 kms), also known as the Valley of Shepherds. En route, visit Pampore, famous for its saffron fields, followed by a visit to a cricket bat factory and apple orchards gardens.

    Pahalgam is an idyllic resort located on the banks of the rivers Lidder River and Sheshnag River. It is the base for several treks in the region and for the annual pilgrimage to the Holy Cave Shrine of Amarnath Temple. The surroundings are ideal for relaxation and leisure in the true spirit of a traditional hill resort.

    On arrival, transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, one can visit Baisaran Valley by pony on direct payment. It is a large grassy meadow with small rolling hills and an eye-catching landscape. It is also an ideal campsite for trekkers who wish to move further towards Tulian Lake.

    05

    Pahalgam

    Morning after breakfast, visit Aru Valley. Aru Valley is noted for its unique beauty and vast meadows. It is famous among tourists for its peaceful environment and scenic surroundings. The village also serves as a base camp for trekkers heading to the Kolahoi Glacier.

    After that, visit Betaab Valley. The valley got its name from the film Betaab. It is surrounded by lush green meadows, snow-clad mountains, and dense forests.

    Proceed to Chandanwari, the base camp for the Amarnath Yatra. Later, drive back to Pahalgam. The rest of the day is free for personal activities. Enjoy a leisurely walk at Pahalgam Mall Road.

    06

    Pahalgam to Srinagar (90 kms approx 2.5 hrs )

    Morning after breakfast, drive to Srinagar (90 kms / approx. 2.5 hrs) and proceed to Srinagar Airport for your return journey.

    (The itinerary may change as per your flight time, schedule, and the hotel area where you are staying. Entry fees and activity costs are to be paid directly wherever applicable.

  • Gulmarg Cable car at additional cost
  • When there is snow on the roads , the common car cannot go up to Gulmarg town due to snow so a snow car ( chain car ) needs to be hired by guest (at optional cost) to reach to the hotel.
  • This optional cost has to be paid by the guest directly to the driver. We do not include this cost in the tour because it depends on the weather at the time of travel.
  • In Kashmir there are places like Zero Point in Sonmarg , Gulmarg town , Drunk waterfall where union car needs to be hired .
  • This cost is not included in the tour cost because not everyone would opt for this places.
  • So if anyone is willing to go at such places than the cost of union car needs to be paid directly by the client to the driver.
  • Cost for supplementary service, optional Tours, Up-gradation Charges, Guide, Sightseeing, entrance fees.
  • Cost for Insurance Premiums, Rafting Charges or water sport activities.
