    Jodhpur

    Arrive at Jodhpur Airport, where you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to the hotel. Take some time to rest and refresh. Begin your sightseeing with a visit to Mandore Gardens, renowned for its charming collection of temples and memorials set on high rock terraces. The gardens also house the Chhatris (cenotaphs) of many rulers of Jodhpur state. Next, visit Balsamand Lake, located 5 km from Jodhpur on Jodhpur-Mandore Road. Built in 1159 AD by the Gurjara-Pratihara rulers, this lake was designed as a water reservoir to provide water to Mandore and is now a popular picnic spot. Later, explore the local markets for some shopping and soak in the vibrant atmosphere of the city.

    Jodhpur

    Today, explore Jodhpur in the most local way with a Blue City walking experience around 9 a.m. (optional). Discover a city that was planned in the form of a human body, where every part represents different organs. Begin the trail with a spiritual visit to the historic Krishna Temple, located at the heart of Jodhpur. After meeting the priest’s family, wander through the narrow yet lively lanes of the Blue City, interact with locals, and uncover untold stories and tales of the place. Visit the ancient wells that have played a pivotal role for the natives of Jodhpur. Conclude the heritage walk by savouring local sweets like Gulab Jamun and Mave ki Kachori, complemented with a visit to the community kitchen and Krishi Mandi (Grain Market). The walk ends at the Clock Tower.

    In the afternoon, visit some of the city’s iconic landmarks including Umaid Bhawan Palace, Mehrangarh Fort, and Jaswant Thada, before returning to the hotel for overnight stay in Jodhpur.

    Travel from Jodhpur to Bishnoi Village (25 km, approx. 45 mins) to experience the rich rural culture and traditions of the Bishnoi community, known for their love of nature and wildlife. At Gudda Village, spot desert wildlife including antelopes, gazelles, Demoiselle cranes, rabbits, blue bulls, migratory birds, and peacocks. At Waivers Village, witness traditional durry weaving used as floor covers or rugs. At Potter’s Village, observe the art of pottery and try your hand at creating your own under guidance

    Jodhpur - Khimsar (1 Hrs 55 Min – 100.2KM)

    After breakfast, check out from the hotel in Jodhpur and depart for Khimsar (approx. 1 hr 55 min, 100.2 km). En route, visit the desert hamlets and historic Hindu temples in Osian, exploring the local culture and heritage. Upon arrival at Khimsar Fort, take some time to relax by the swimming pool and unwind amidst the regal surroundings.

    After breakfast, proceed for a Khimsar Village tour. Khimsar Village is a major attraction and a convenient stopover between Pushkar and Jaisalmer. Situated on the edge of the grand Thar Desert and in the heart of rural Northern India, the village is approximately 92 km along the highway connecting Jodhpur and Bikaner. It is also well-connected to other prominent tourist destinations in Rajasthan including Jodhpur, Bikaner, and Nagaur. Begin your sightseeing with a tour of Pushkar, visiting the Jagat Pita Shri Brahma Temple, one of the few temples in India dedicated to Lord Brahma, followed by a visit to the Apteshwar Mahadev Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. After exploring Pushkar, continue to Ajmer to visit the Dargah Ajmer Sharif, a revered Sufi shrine that houses the tomb of Moinuddin Chisti, a descendant of the son-in-law of Prophet Mohammad.
