    Bangalore - Coorg - (6hrs 285kms)

    On arrival at Bangalore Airport or Railway Station, you will be greeted and assisted before beginning your scenic drive to Coorg. Nestled in Karnataka, Coorg—also known as Kodagu—was once a separate state before merging with Mysore in 1956. Famous for its sprawling coffee plantations and warm hospitality, this hill district is a perfect retreat into nature.

    Upon reaching Coorg, check in to your hotel and relax after the journey. Spend the evening at leisure or enjoy the in-house resort activities at your own pace.

    Coorg

    After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy some relaxed time at leisure. Later, proceed for local sightseeing in Coorg.

    Begin your visit with Omkareshwara Temple, a historic shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in Madikeri. The temple stands out for its unique blend of Gothic and Islamic architectural styles, making it one of the most distinctive religious landmarks in the region.

    Next, visit Abbey Falls, a picturesque waterfall surrounded by lush greenery and coffee plantations. The cascading waters create a refreshing and scenic atmosphere, perfect for photographs and short walks.

    In the evening, head to Raja's Seat, a popular sunset viewpoint that offers beautiful panoramic views of the valleys and rolling hills of Coorg.

    Coorg

    After breakfast, proceed to visit Dubare Elephant Camp, located on the banks of the River Kaveri in Kodagu district. This forest camp is an important training and rehabilitation center for elephants managed by the Karnataka Forest Department. Visitors can observe and, at an additional cost, participate in activities such as elephant interaction, feeding sessions, and quad biking.

    Later in the afternoon, return to the hotel for some relaxation. In the evening, visit the Namdroling Monastery, popularly known as the Golden Temple. It is one of the largest Tibetan settlements in South India, renowned for its magnificent monasteries, vibrant Tibetan architecture, handicrafts, carpet weaving units, and incense factories.

    Coorg - Kabini - (3hrs, 110 Kms)

    After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Kabini. Located along the southern edge of Nagarahole National Park, Kabini is a peaceful destination known for its rich wildlife and scenic landscapes. The calm backwaters of the Kabini River and the surrounding forest create a perfect setting for nature lovers.

    Upon arrival, check in to your resort and relax. In the evening, you may opt for an exciting canter or jeep safari (at an additional cost) inside the national park, where you may spot elephants, deer, and other wildlife. Alternatively, you can visit the Kabini Dam or simply unwind at the resort and enjoy the serene surroundings.

    Kabini

    Early morning, opt for a canter/jeep or boat safari (at additional cost) in Nagarahole National Park, known for its dense forests and wildlife including tigers, elephants, and Indian bison. The park is also part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve and a designated Project Tiger Reserve.
    In the afternoon, enjoy a traditional coracle ride on the Kabini River, a unique round boat experience native to South India. Later, return to the resort for dinner and an overnight stay in Kabini.

    After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your return journey to Bangalore. You will be transferred to Bangalore Airport or Railway Station for your onward travel.
