    Paro Airport (PBH) – Enroute Sightseeing - Thimphu Thimphu (2320 Mts / 7656 Fts, 65 Kms / 01½ to 02 Hrs drive approx)

    On arrival at Paro International Airport, after completing your visa and permit formalities, you will be warmly welcomed by our Bhutan representative, who will assist you with your transfer to Thimphu, the charming capital city of Bhutan. Begin your scenic drive through picturesque valleys and winding mountain roads, offering a perfect introduction to the country’s serene landscapes.

    Based on time availability, enjoy an en-route visit to Tamchog Lhakhang (Iron Bridge), a historic temple founded by the legendary Tibetan saint Thangtong Gyalpo, known for his iron chain bridges across Bhutan. Continue your journey with a photo stop at Chuzom (Confluence Point), the beautiful meeting point of the Thimphu River (Wong Chu) and the Paro River (Pa Chu), marked by three distinct stupas representing different Buddhist traditions.

    Upon arrival in Thimphu, check in to your hotel and relax after the journey. Enjoy a comfortable evening at leisure, followed by

    Thimphu - Full Day Local sightseeing - Thimphu Thimphu (2320 Mts / 7611 Ft)

    After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Thimphu, exploring the cultural, spiritual, and traditional highlights of Bhutan’s capital city. Start your day with a visit to Sangaygang View Point (BBS Tower), located at an elevation of 2865 meters (9397 ft), offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire Thimphu valley and surrounding mountains — a perfect spot for photography.

    Next, visit the majestic Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodrang), home to one of the largest Buddha statues in Bhutan, overlooking the city and providing a peaceful spiritual atmosphere. Continue to the Institute for Zorig Chusum (Traditional Art & Craft School), where you can witness students learning Bhutan’s 13 traditional arts and crafts (Entrance Fee: INR 100 approx. per person | Closed on Saturdays, Sundays, National Holidays, and during Summer & Winter vacations).

    Later, explore the Textiles Museum, showcasing Bhutan’s rich weaving heritage (Entrance Fee: INR 250 approx. per person), followed by a visit to local Handicrafts Shops, ideal for purchasing authentic souvenirs (Entrance Fee: INR 100 approx. | Closed on Saturdays, Sundays & National Holidays). Continue to Zangthopelri Lhakhang (Monastery), a serene spiritual site reflecting Bhutanese religious beliefs. Experience traditional Bhutanese culture at Simply Bhutan, an interactive living museum offering insights into rural life, traditional attire, and customs (Entrance Fee: INR 1000 approx. per person | Closed on National Holidays).

    Proceed to the Motithang Takin Preservation Centre, dedicated to Bhutan’s national animal, the unique Takin, set amidst natural surroundings (Entrance Fee: INR 300 approx. per person | Closed every Monday). After a fulfilling day of exploration, return to the hotel for relaxation. Enjoy

    Thimphu - Punakha Local Sightseeing - Punakha / Wangdi Punakha / Wangdi (1273 Mts / 4177 Fts, 70 Kms / 03 to 3½ Hrs one way drive approx)

    After breakfast, check out and drive to Punakha / Wangdi, passing through the scenic Dochu La Pass (3080 m), offering breathtaking Himalayan views. En route, enjoy the panoramic landscapes before arriving in Punakha. Visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s most iconic fortresses. If time permits, explore the Suspension Bridge and later proceed to Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple). Check in to the hotel on arrival.

    Punakha / Wangdi via Lampari - Paro Paro (2200 Mts / 7218 Fts, 148 Kms / 04 to 05 Hrs approx drive)

    After breakfast, check out and drive to Paro. En route, stop at Lamperi to visit the beautiful Royal Botanical Garden, known for its rich collection of Himalayan flora and serene surroundings. Continue the scenic journey through mountain landscapes to reach Paro. On arrival, check in to the hotel.

    Paro - Full day Local Sightseeing - Paro Paro (2200 Mts / 7216 Fts)

    After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Paro, covering Dungtse Lhakhang, followed by a stop at the Bird Eye View Point, offering stunning panoramic views of the picturesque Paro Valley and the Paro International Airport. The ideal time to visit is between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Later, visit Ta Dzong (National Museum), Rinpung Dzong, and the sacred Kichu Lhakhang. After sightseeing, return to the hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay at Paro.

    OR – Hike to Taktsang Lhakhang (Tiger’s Nest Monastery):
    Start early for an adventurous hike to the iconic Taktsang Lhakhang (Tiger’s Nest), perched dramatically on a cliffside. The uphill hike takes approximately 2½ to 3 hours one way through scenic pine forests, depending on fitness levels. Guests may also hike up to the cafeteria viewpoint, which takes about 1 to 1½ hours. After the descent, return to the base and drive back to the hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay at Paro.

    OR – Excursion to Chele La Pass:
    After breakfast, enjoy a scenic excursion to Chele La Pass, the highest motorable pass in Bhutan, offering breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks and lush valleys. Later, drive back to Paro.

    Paro - Paro Airport (PBH) Paro (2200 Mts / 7216 Fts, 6 Kms / 20 to 30 minutes drive approx)

    After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for a comfortable transfer to Paro Airport (PBH) for your onward journey. Depart with beautiful memories of Bhutan’s serene landscapes, rich culture, and peaceful monasteries.
