Overview

This is a 6 Nights / 7 Days private tour exploring the breathtaking beauty of Jammu and Kashmir, designed to cover major scenic spots across the Valley. You begin your journey in Srinagar, followed by visits to Gulmarg and Pahalgam, before returning to Srinagar to complete the tour.

In Srinagar, you will experience the iconic Shikara ride on Dal Lake, explore the serene Mughal Gardens such as Shalimar Bagh, ‍Nishat Bagh, and Chashma Shahi Garden, and visit the holy Hazratbal Shrine. In Gulmarg, you will explore the scenic hill town famous for its snow‑clad landscapes and optional Cable Car ride (Gondola) offering panoramic views of the Himalayas. In Pahalgam, the tour covers its beautiful valley settings including Aru Valley and Chandanwari, as well as the saffron fields at Pampore. After sightseeing in Pahalgam and Gulmarg, you return to Srinagar to complete your journey before departure.

    Arrive Srinagar

    On arrival at Srinagar, you will be met by our assistance at the airport and transferred to a Deluxe Houseboat. Today, enjoy a Shikara boat ride to explore Dal Lake, including its waterways, backwaters, canals, floating gardens, vegetable gardens, water lilies, lotus flowers, easily accessible mobile vendors, floating handicrafts centres, and experience the inherited lifestyle of people living inside the lake for decades. In the evening, return to the Deluxe Houseboat.

    Srinagar – Gulmarg (56 Kms)

    After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer from Srinagar to Gulmarg. Gulmarg, situated at an altitude of 2730 Mts above sea level, is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and offers a spectacular view of Nanga Parbat on clear sunny days. Visitors can opt for a cable car ride up to Alpather via Kongdori, which is Asia’s longest run cable car (approx. 5 kms – at own cost) for an unforgettable experience. In the evening, return to the hotel.

    Gulmarg – Pahalgam (148 Kms, 2 ½ Hrs Drive)

    After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer from Gulmarg to Pahalgam. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Pahalgam, situated at an altitude of 2130 Mts above sea level, is Kashmir’s most popular resort surrounded by high mountains, dense forests, and high-altitude lakes. In the evening, enjoy leisure time to explore the surroundings and take in the scenic beauty. Return to the hotel.

    Pahalgam

    After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Aru Valley and Chandanwari using a local car (on your own cost). Chandanwari is also known as the base for the Amarnath Cave pilgrimage. Enjoy the scenic beauty of lush valleys, pine forests, and mountain views. In the evening, return to the hotel.

    Pahalgam – Srinagar (94 Kms, 2 ½ Hrs Drive)

    After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer from Pahalgam to Srinagar. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Proceed for sightseeing of the famous Mughal Gardens, including Chashma Shahi, Nishat Bagh, and Shalimar Bagh, all beautifully laid out along the banks of Dal Lake. Visit Shankaracharya Temple, located on a hillock offering panoramic views of the city, Dal Lake, and River Jehlum. En route, stop at a handloom centre famous for Pashmina, Shahtoos shawls, and world-renowned carpets. Return to the hotel in the evening.

    Srinagar – Sonamarg – Srinagar (174 Kms, Round Trip)

    After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Sonamarg from Srinagar. Located northeast of Srinagar at an altitude of 3000 Mts above sea level, Sonamarg offers incredible scenic beauty with dense forests and towering mountains along the route. Sonamarg is a popular resort for mountaineers and rock climbers and serves as an important halt en route to Kargil (Ladakh). It is also the ideal base for various trekking routes, high mountain lakes, glaciers, and the Shri Amarnath Ji Holy Cave. In the evening, return to Srinagar.

    Morning free for leisure activities or last-minute shopping in Srinagar. Later, check out from the hotel and transfer to Srinagar Airport to board your scheduled flight for your onward destination.

  • When there is snow on the roads , the common car cannot go up to Gulmarg town due to snow so a snow car ( chain car ) needs to be hired by guest (at optional cost) to reach to the hotel.
  • This optional cost has to be paid by the guest directly to the driver. We do not include this cost in the tour because it depends on the weather at the time of travel.
  • In Kashmir there are places like Zero Point in Sonmarg , Gulmarg town , Drunk waterfall where union car needs to be hired
  • This cost is not included in the tour cost because not everyone would opt for this places .
  • So if anyone is willing to go at such places than the cost of union car needs to be paid directly by the client to the driver.

What is the best time to visit Kashmir?

The best time to visit Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam, and Sonamarg is from March to June and September to November. During these months, the weather is pleasant, skies are mostly clear, and you can enjoy sightseeing, scenic drives, and outdoor activities. Monsoon months (July–August) are not recommended due to heavy rainfall and possible road blockages, while winters (December–February) are ideal for snow lovers but can be very cold, especially in Gulmarg and Sonamarg.

What is the temperature in these destinations?

During summer (April – June), temperatures range from 10°C to 25°C, making it ideal for sightseeing and outdoor activities. In monsoon (July – September), temperatures range from 15°C to 22°C with moderate to heavy rainfall. Winter (October – February) sees temperatures drop from -2°C to 10°C, particularly in Gulmarg and Sonamarg, which can experience snowfall. Srinagar and Pahalgam remain slightly warmer compared to the high-altitude destinations.
