A moderate trek of about 45 minutes up Ambukutty Mala leads you to these historic caves, which display Stone Age engravings and ancient scripts of archaeological importance. Later, visit Soochipara Waterfalls, a beautiful three-tiered waterfall surrounded by dense forest. A short 2 km walk from the parking area takes you to the falls, where you can enjoy the scenic surroundings. It is also a popular spot for trekking and rock climbing.
