    Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / NJP Railway Station (NJP) - Phuentsholing

    Bagdogra Airport – 126 Mts / 412 Fts New Jalpaiguri Railway Station – 140 Mts / 460 Fts Phuentsholing – 293 Mts / 961 Fts | 165 Kms | 04 to 05 Hrs drive approx. On arrival at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP), you will be received by our representative and transferred to Phuentsholing, the gateway to Bhutan. Enjoy a scenic drive through lush landscapes and foothills of the Himalayas. Upon arrival at Phuentsholing, meet and greet followed by hotel check-in. Rest of the day is at leisure.

    Phuentsholing - Thimphu

    After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for Visa / Permit formalities, assisted by our Bhutan representative, in case the permits were not completed on the day of arrival. Once the formalities are completed, board your vehicle and continue your scenic journey from Phuentsholing to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. On arrival at Thimphu, check in to the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.

    Thimphu - Full Day Local sightseeing - Thimphu

    Thimphu – 2320 Mts / 7611 Fts
    After breakfast, embark on a full-day Thimphu sightseeing tour. Visit Sangaygang View Point (BBS Tower) at 2865 Mts / 9397 Fts, offering stunning panoramic views of the city. Continue to Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodong), followed by the Institute for Zorig Chusum (Traditional Art & Craft School) (Entrance fee: INR 100 approx per person, closed on Saturdays, Sundays, National Holidays, and during Summer & Winter vacations). Explore the Textiles Museum (Entrance fee: INR 250 approx per person) and browse the Handicrafts Shops (closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and National Holidays). Visit Zangthopelri Lhakhang (Monastery), Simply Bhutan (Entrance fee: INR 1000 approx per person, closed on National Holidays), and Motithang Takin Preservation Centre (Entrance fee: INR 300 approx per person, closed on Mondays).     Thimphu - Punakha Local Sightseeing - Punakha / Wangdi

    After breakfast, check out from the hotel in Thimphu and drive to Punakha / Wangdi, the last town on the highway before entering Central Bhutan. Enjoy the scenic drive over Dochu La Pass (3080 Mts / 10102 Fts), offering breathtaking views of Bhutan’s mountains. Upon arrival, visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong (Entrance fee: INR 500 approx per person). Time permitting, explore the Suspension Bridge and proceed to Chimi Lhakhang (Monastery) (Entrance fee: INR 1000 approx per person).

    After breakfast, you have two options for the day:

    Or– Punakha Local Sightseeing:
    Visit Punakha Dzong (Entrance fee: INR 500 approx per person). For adventure enthusiasts, enjoy optional white water rafting on the Punakha River (direct payment basis). Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Punakha / Wangdi.

    Note: Guests opting for rafting should carry one extra set of clothes for a change in case of getting wet.

    Or – Excursion to Gangtey / Phobjikha Valley:
    Start early for a full-day excursion to Gangtey & Phobjikha Valley. Gangtey Valley is one of Bhutan’s most scenic locations. Visit the Black Necked Crane Information Centre (Entrance fee: INR 200 approx per person) and Gangtey Goempa (Monastery). After sightseeing, drive back to Punakha / Wangdi for
    overnight stay at the hotel.

    After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Punakha / Wangdi and drive towards Paro. En route, stop at Lamperi to visit the Royal Botanical Garden (Entrance fee: INR 100 approx per person). Continue the scenic drive through Bhutanese valleys and hills. Upon arrival in Paro, check in to your hotel.

    Paro - Full day Local Sightseeing - Paro

    Paro – 2200 Mts / 7216 Fts

    After breakfast, choose from the following options for the day:

    Or – Paro Local Sightseeing:
    Explore Dungtse Lhakhang, followed by the Bird Eye View Point, offering a picturesque view of Paro Valley and the small Paro International Airport nestled in the valley (best time between 10–11 AM). Continue to Ta Dzong (National Museum) (Entrance fee: INR 300 approx per person, closed on National Holidays), Rinpung Dzong, and Kichu Lhakhang. In the afternoon, visit the Paro Local Market. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Paro.

    Or– Hike to Taktsang Lhakhang (Tiger’s Nest Monastery):
    Start early for a day hike to Taktsang Lhakhang (Entrance fee: INR 1000 approx per person). The uphill hike takes approximately 2½ to 3 hours one way through pine forests, depending on fitness level. Guests unable to reach the top can stop at the cafeteria points (1 to 1½ hours uphill). Return to the base where the vehicle will take you back to the hotel. Overnight stay in Paro.

    Or– Excursion to Chele-la Pass:
    After breakfast, drive to Chele-la Pass (3988 Mts / 13080 Fts, 40 Kms / 02 to 2½ Hrs one-way from Paro). Enjoy the breathtaking mountain views and scenic surroundings. Drive back to Paro for

    After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Siliguri and transfer to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) for your onward journey or flight connection.
