    Nainital/Bhimtal

After breakfast at the hotel, spend some relaxing time at the resort enjoying the pleasant weather and peaceful surroundings. Later, proceed for local sightseeing in Nainital, a hill station known for its scenic beauty and charming atmosphere.

Begin with a visit to Tiffin Top, a popular peak located about 4 km from the heart of the town. It offers breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and valleys. The short trek to the top is refreshing, and pony rides are also available for those who prefer a more relaxed way to reach the viewpoint.

Next, experience the Nainital Ropeway, which takes you from Mallital to Snow View. The cable car ride offers a spectacular bird’s-eye view of the hill station and the surrounding mountains, making it a memorable experience for visitors who enjoy panoramic heights.

Visit the sacred Naina Devi Temple, dedicated to Goddess Naina Devi, who is believed to be the presiding deity of Naini Lake. The temple is considered one of the 64 Shakti Peeths in India. Spend some quiet and peaceful moments here. Temple timings are from 4:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Continue to Raj Bhawan, also known as the Governor’s House. Built by the British in 1924, this grand two-storey mansion resembles Buckingham Palace in London. Although visitors are allowed only in the beautifully maintained lawns and the 18-hole golf course within its premises, the surrounding forest area is home to several rare species of flora and fauna.

Later, enjoy time at the picturesque Naini Lake, the most famous lake in the region. Pear-shaped and surrounded by green hills, the lake offers activities such as boating, yachting, and paddling. The calm waters and cool breeze create a perfect setting to witness a beautiful sunset.

Spend the evening strolling along Mall Road, known for its lively atmosphere and shopping options. Nainital is especially famous for its handmade candles available in unique shapes, sizes, and creative designs. Do pick up some as souvenirs or home décor items.
