Sightseeings Covered St. Paul’s Church, Gangeshwar Temple, Shell Museum, Gomtimata Beach, Ghogla Beach, NaGoa Beach, Jalandhar Beach, Chakratirth Beach, Naida Caves, Kukri Memorial, Diu Fort, Panikotha Fort

After breakfast, visit St. Paul’s Church, a Baroque-style architectural marvel with intricately carved woodwork, considered one of the most elaborate among Portuguese churches in India. Proceed to Gangeshwar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, featuring five Shivlings amidst rocks, lapped by the crystal-clear sea water during high tide. Explore the Shell Museum, displaying a wide variety of shells collected by merchant navy Captain Devjibhai Fulbaria over 50 years. Visit the main beaches of Diu, including Gomtimata, Ghogla, NaGoa, Jalandhar, and Chakratirth, many of which have popular tourist attractions nearby. Explore the Naida Caves near Jalandhar Beach, formed during Portuguese quarrying, and the Kukri Memorial, famous for its open amphitheater and sunset views. Enjoy recreational activities at NaGoa Beach, including boating and parasailing, and see the famous offshore lighthouse. Conclude with a visit to Diu Fort (Fort Diu), a grand Portuguese fort with mesmerizing views of the sea and Panikotha Fort opposite the coast.

It is an important pilgrimage and tourist destination in Gujarat. Enjoy darshan at the temple and the superb view of the ocean. Later in the afternoon, check in at your hotel in Sasan Gir. The evening is free for leisure.

Gir Safari

Sightseeings Covered Gir National Park – Morning and Evening Safari

Visit Gir National Park for wildlife watching in the morning. Sasan Gir is one of the most popular wildlife sanctuaries and is home to many Asiatic Lions. The park also provides habitat to a variety of smaller birds and animals. Other animals recorded in the park include Panther, Hyena, Indian Deer, Sambar, Chital (Spotted Deer), Nilgai (Blue Bull), Chinkara, Chowsingha (Four-Horned Antelope), Bear, and Long-Tailed Langur. In the evening, enjoy another National Park Safari before returning to the resort.
