Within the Golden Temple complex, also visit the Akal Takht, the highest seat of authority for the Khalsa. Orders from the Akal Takht are binding for all Sikhs, making it a place of immense spiritual and historical significance.

Return to the hotel for breakfast, and then proceed to Jallianwala Bagh, a site of tragic historical importance where many people were massacred by the East India Company on 13th April 1919.
